Peace River Wildlife Center

While in Punta Gorda, Florida over the Christmas break, I had the good fortune of being able to become a shutterbug at the Peace River Wildlife Center (PRWC) by making a donation and step into their large open-air bird cages to take photographs.  Nestled into the mangroves on  Charlotte Harbor at the Ponce de Leon Park, PRWC is a non-profit organization dedicated to the care, preservation and protection of Charlotte County’s native wildlife.

Fantastic photos Steve! What a great place! I have not seen a white owl like this before. It is very mouse like in appearance.
